Alejandro the Angry Alpaca

02 Sep Alejandro the Angry Alpaca

Alpacas are weird looking but cuddly, funny and lovable.  Their expressions while chewing are precious and easily misunderstood.  Are not our little ones, their anger and how sometimes they calm themselves down such beautiful growth.

After reading the book to my students, I asked them if they are familiar with alpacas, and one of them said “yes” and saw one in a cartoon. They asked why is he mad? It looks fun to be an alpaca! One student disagrees and said “no” because everyone will ignore you. After that, the whole class agreed and wanted to go to Peru to see Alejandro and cheer him up. A very good book to teach your child on how to handle anger and the way to handle it.

This book is an excellent way to make children understand the implications of anger. It helped my stubborn child. Being from the eastern part of the world we’ve never seen these animals. Amazing to see these pictures not only to my child but me too. Thanks to the author to have conceptualized and compiled these wonderful books as a social and emotional learning,
